Did you know that rainbows aren’t just arcs in the sky, they are actually full circles? When sunlight and raindrops combine to make a rainbow, they can make a whole circle of light in the sky. When we’re standing on the ground, we can only see the light that’s reflected by raindrops above the horizon. That’s why we see rainbows not as circles, but as arcs across our sky.
